About these terms
Evrant ("we", "us") is operated by Evrant Technologies Limited. These terms, together with our refund policy and privacy notice, form the agreement between you and us for using Evrant.
By creating an account you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18. If you use Evrant for a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.
Who you buy from
You buy Evrant access from us. Stripe processes payments on our behalf; we handle service questions and refund requests.
Stripe provides secure checkout and subscription billing. Your checkout shows the amount due and applicable VAT. These terms cover your purchase and use of Evrant.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Each seat is for one person. Don't share sign-in details. Team plans are priced per seat, and each seat is for one member of your workspace.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has accessed your account.
Plans, founder pricing and billing
- Plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout, including any VAT that applies.
- Founder pricing is available to the first 100 people who sign up and pay. It applies for your first 12 months of billing on the plan you choose. After that, your plan renews at the standard price shown when you signed up. We'll remind you by email before the change.
- Every plan includes the full research loop: the research agent, backtests, optimisation, validation, sealed data, machine learning and campaigns. Plans differ in compute, concurrency, per-job limits, included agent credits and some advanced options, such as model modes, shown on our pricing page. If a feature later moves to a higher plan, you keep it on your current plan for as long as you stay subscribed.
- Changing plans: upgrades take effect straight away, and the difference is prorated. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
- Price changes: we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects your plan. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time. Your plan works until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds follow our refund policy.
Paying before access opens
Founders sign up and pay before Evrant opens. You make a one-time payment at signup to reserve your founder spot and prepay the first month from launch. At launch you must separately authorise the recurring subscription to activate research access. The first recurring payment is one month after launch. The prepaid month counts as the first of your 12 founder-priced months, and the waiting period does not use any paid access or credits. We'll email you when your account is ready. You can cancel for a full refund within 14 days of paying, and you keep your statutory rights if we can't provide the service (see the refund policy).
Agent credits
- The research agent uses credits. Each plan includes a monthly allowance, and you can buy credit blocks or add a monthly credit add-on to your subscription.
- Credits are used according to the model usage of each agent action, at the rates shown in your account. Estimates shown before an action are approximate. The agent pauses when you run out, and your results and deterministic tools keep working.
- Monthly included credits reset at renewal without rollover and are used before purchased top-ups. Purchased top-ups never expire and are retained if your subscription ends; an active subscription is required to spend them.
- Credits aren't money. They have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and are lost when they expire or your account is closed, except as set out in our refund policy.
- We may update the rate card, for example when model prices change. Changes apply from the date we publish them and never to credits already used.
Using Evrant properly
You must not:
- break the law, or use Evrant to harm others;
- try to get around the strategy sandbox, access other users' data, or probe, overload or disrupt our systems;
- upload malicious code, or code you don't have the right to use;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell Evrant, or use it to build a competing product;
- scrape or bulk-export market data, or redistribute it (see Market data);
- share accounts, or get around plan limits, quotas or credit metering.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
Your strategies and content
You own the ideas, strategies, code, research records and results you create or upload to Evrant ("your content"). You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run, secure and support the service for you. That includes sending it to the AI model providers that power the research agent.
We keep your content confidential and don't share it with other users. The Evrant software, engine, SDK, design and brand remain ours.
The research agent
Evrant’s AI research agent plans experiments, writes code and explains results. It can make mistakes. Every metric Evrant shows comes from its deterministic engine and links to the run that produced it, and figures the agent can't cite are flagged. Still, review the agent's work before you rely on it. You decide what to do with any strategy or result.
Not financial advice
Evrant is research software. It does not give investment, financial or trading advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Backtests, simulations and validation results describe the past under stated assumptions and don't predict future returns. Trading futures carries a substantial risk of loss. You are responsible for your trading decisions and their results.
Market data
Market data in Evrant is licensed from third parties. It's provided for your own research inside Evrant, and you may not copy, export in bulk, redistribute or resell it. Data can contain gaps or errors. Evrant shows the gaps it knows about, but we can't guarantee the data is complete or accurate.
Changes and availability
We're improving Evrant all the time, so features will change. We won't make changes that materially reduce the core service you've paid for during a billing period without telling you and letting you cancel. We aim to keep Evrant available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. It doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
- We're not liable for trading losses or investment decisions you make, whether or not they were informed by Evrant.
- If you're a consumer, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses.
- If you use Evrant for a business, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for Evrant in that period, and we're not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, or for indirect loss.
Ending your account
You can close your account at any time by cancelling your plan and contacting us. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law. Where we can, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first. If we close Evrant or your account without you being at fault, we'll refund any prepaid amount for the service you won't receive.
After your account closes, you can ask for an export of your content within 30 days. We then delete it as set out in our privacy notice.
Law, changes and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you keep any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then. The date at the top shows the latest version.
